Farmer’s Markets:
Tuesday Farmer’s Market in Tinamastes 8am-12pm. About 40 minutes drive. Go to highway and turn right going north. Drive about 15 minutes until you reach the bridge at Dominical and the police check point. Turn right here going up the mountain. Drive about 25 minutes and on the right side you will see lots of cars parked everywhere and here is the market.
Friday Farmer’s Market in Dominical 8am-12pm. About 15 minutes north. Go to highway and turn right. Drive about 15-20 minutes and just before big bridge and police check point, turn left into the town of Dominical. At the end of this entrance, turn left and drive down passed the "ICE" building of your left. The Farmer’s Market is just after the ICE building on your left.
Saturday Farmer’s Market in Uvita 8am-12pm. About 5 minutes. Go to highway and turn left. Drive passed the gas station of Uvita and turn right at the next turn. Drive down about a block, you will see cars and park where you can. Market is here.
Souvenir Shops:
Dominical: Go to highway and turn right going north. Drive about 15-20 minutes and just before bridge and police check point, turn left into the town of Dominical. Here there are lots of places to buy gifts and souvenirs.
Uvita: Go to highway and turn left, pass gas station. Across the street from the Bank of Costa Rica there is a souvenir shop and if you explore this area, there are a few other shops as well.
Bahia: Go to highway and turn left, pass gas station and drive all the way through the town of Uvita. After Banco Nacional on your right, you will drive a little further and turn right on the paved road where there is a bus station with a little cat on it. Drive all the way to the end of this road and turn left. There are cute little shops and restaurants on this road.
